The jailbreak community has for long been waiting for a jailbreak for iOS 9.3.2 as Apple went further to patch all the bugs that were earlier exploited by the Pangu team. It is therefore good news that iOS Hacker iH8Snow has been working on a new iOS 10 Jailbreak. The hacker showcased the video on his Youtube channel, which shows an iPhone 5 running on a Jailbroken iOS 10.
For those who have questions whether this is an untethered jailbreak version or not, the video shows the device running the iOS 10 jailbreak and has cydia installed and can even be restarted without losing the jailbreak status. He then proceeds to show that he’s got root access to the phone which is another indication that the jailbreak is working.
When to Expect iOS 10 Jailbreak
However, one thing worth noting is that this is the beta version of iOS 10, so you wouldn’t expect a jailbreak to roll out. In fact, this is only the first beta option, with the final version expected to be released in the fall which coincides with the release of the iPhone 7, meaning that a lot will have changed by then.
Although the hack that allows the iOS 10 jailbreak may have been patched by then, it is encouraging to know that iOS 10 can be jailbroken and Cydia can run on it without any problems. Also, going by iH8Snow’s twitter account, the hacker revealed that Cydia is running perfectly and doesn’t crash. If things go well, we should expect a jailbreak release on the iOS 10 since most devices can easily upgrade as opposed to downgrading.
As usual, our team will keep on updating you on the latest iOS 10 Jailbreak releases and status. Hopefully, there will be new updates soon to let you know.
